Welcome! I am a writer of fantasy novels for young people (and readers of all ages, hopefully!). My first novel, Fortune’s Folly, is available now from from Henry Holt. For a sample, check out the first chapter! I have two more books on the way, also from Henry Holt: a fantastical quest with an unlikely heroine titled The Magical Misadventures of Prunella Bogthistle (June 2010) and the story of a girl’s adventures with an inter-galactic circus titled Circus Galacticus (Spring 2011).
