Back from Vacation…

You know what helps deal with post vacation let-down (say, after a lovely trip to Florence and Venice)? Coming home and finding a box containing these on your doorstep:

    Congratulations on the new book! It looks lovely.

    I’ve been to Florence (so beautiful) but never Venice–I feel I feel I must go soon, before it floods…

    Thank you Charlotte! I hope you get to see Venice yourself one day. I will admit the fear that it might be changed forever by rising oceans is one of the reasons I was particularly eager to see it now myself.
